Hmmm. I do use it but less than I did. I must be part of the 32% who say they use it but don't.

I keep finding things it can't do (VPN, passwords) and I have to keep repairing it (deleting the IENetCache folder). Having said that I like the spartan look. Not given up on it yet....

As for stats, since it is only available on Windows 10..the stats refer to Windows 10 users only. The total Edge users worldwide amount to something like .01 percent of entire internet users.

Edge IMO is a mess, outside of NO extensions, the simply fact that it imports bookmarks backwards and has literally no bookmark manager of any type is my biggest complaint. Not only that, it has no way to easily reset it, as IE, FF, Chrome, Opera, Safari, and every other browser on the internet has. I have over 300 bookmarks and to hand move everyone of those, is crazy. I use my Chrome extensions far too much to ever switch.

The only thing less desirable then Edge, is perhaps Windows 10.

  7. If you don't like it why are you using it, or if not using it how would you know.
Windows 10 is the OS I have never ever had trouble with
I have used right from windows 3.1 upwards and even DOS.
    Worst was Vista.
So at last Microsoft have got it right with Edge, Bing, Cortana and 10

Windows 10 Users Give Up on Edge

Edge is good but not good enough to stand on its own against Firefox and Chrome. I used it but I gone back to Firefox for the meantime due to lack of extension support. Will get back to Edge once RS1 Insider kicked in which is reported to bring extension support for Edge.

I agree Windows 10 IS the best version of windows ever...It had to be to lure me back from linux and ubuntu (which no previous versions of windows was able to do) *Smile

As far as Edge....just don't like it....no extensions...can't adjust size of fonts or font styles...Even Internet Explorer is a much nicer browser to use but of course, it is on the way out...I use Google Chrome...it has always been my favorite browser, it was my main browser when i used Ubuntu (linux) and is my main browser on Windows 10....

  11. Have to admit I don't like Edge much either. Seems quite buggy and extremely basic looking. Have read about many users having problems with it. Personally I prefer IE11 or Mozilla. Whilst Edge hasn't given me too many problems it does occasionally refuse to open for no reason at all and I have to kill the process in the task manager to allow me to relaunch it. This happens very rarely but it's enough along with the lack of features to put me off it.

  13. Windows 10 Users Give Up on Edge

I launch Edge every know and again before shaking my head and forgetting about it for a while.

Personally, I think it has too much ground to make up. I'll give it another go once extensions are introduced but only out of curiosity.

  15. The only thing I do not like about Edge is that you cannot "mark text, right click and select search with Google".
