  1. Windows 10 using 100GB for System after reset

I've just done a full PC reset, and started adding some of my old files back.

At first my drive was clean, but all of a sudden over 100GB was being used, and i couldn't find where it came from.

So i opened Storage Settings, to see where it was located. It then gave me this:

Windows 10 using 100GB for System after reset 78cf3907-fd17-42d2-82b7-bd06ebc1da7b?upload=true.png

As you can see Windows is using about 90GB for "System Files"

How can i fix this? Is it possible an old backup or windows recovery is causing this? If so, how can i find out?

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
