Windows 10: Windows 10 v1803.. manually install KB4100375 (OS Build 17133.73)

Discus and support Windows 10 v1803.. manually install KB4100375 (OS Build 17133.73) in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; True, but the build 16299.15 that was released was compiled at the end of September, hence it was still officially '1709'. 17134 wasn't compiled... MS consistency is an oxymoron.

Windows 10 apps, notifications fails to display when connected to a VPN.

The problem happened on both Windows 10 Build 16299.371 and the new Build 17133.73, there are no further updates to Windows 10.

I'm in the same position as you. Ultimately I'll probably just reinstall again when the dust settles unless a basic update takes me from this to the final release.

It would be interesting to know what the position is though. Fwiw, the version installed is basically all good for me apart from a few quirks that I'm sure will carry over to the final release anyway,

Yeah, my Product-ID has changed to, when i installed v1803.. because it's still an "Insider preview Build".. but thats not so bad to worry about, Windows 10 v1803.. manually install KB4100375 (OS Build 17133.73) :p but do you know if 4GB is much to download an ISO. orn't? .. yeah i just wait untill the official ISO. is available on MCT and then download it again xD

I've not known an ISO download file exceed 4Gb tbh. Isn't it usually around 3Gb for W10 in x64 guise ?

Product ID is something I've never taken much notice of and without researching it I'm not sure what it all signifies.

    Windows 10 v1803.. manually install KB4100375 (OS Build 17133.73)

    Copy the file to C:\
If the file is too long or contains spaces then just rename it.
Try not to use folder with spaces.

I think it worked.. But you know that this is still an (Insider Previeuw) right? :/ when the official RTM come's out i will download it from the MCT straight away.. and reinstall Windows on my Machine, even this is not the final RTM!!
MS is making Build: (17134) ...

If you're Build is 17133.73, then you were successful. I'm not an Insider either but Windows 10 1803 build 17133 is the official version of the Spring Creators Update.
So, I will not reinstall the official release which might not include this update but use WU to install/ update any new files.
Then I would use the updated MCT to create a bootable backup install media and an ISO to have on-hand for an In-place Repair upgrade, if necessary.

I've just tried this as well by using the DISM command and installing the cab file. Now on 17133.73

Any reason why this doesn't show in 'Update History' ?

Thanks *Smile I'm learning a lot at the moment.

I'll probably reinstall again when the real deal is finally released, however up until then I may as well treat all this as a learning experience and enjoy the ride.

    Same here.

I found a way to integrate KB4093110 and KB4100375 into an ISO using MSMG ToolKit 8.2. I couldn't get it to work using NTLite.

Run dism /online /get-packages in cmd, or SYSTEMINFO.exe in cmd to check for installed updates.
