Windows 10: Windows 10 v1809 screen alterations.

*Smile just a quickie.
On the 4th attempt I downloaded update v1809.
I noticed that the background colour on files etc; normally white, was opaque/pinkish, particularly on context menu (Rt click), making it difficult to see the content.
Anyone come across this?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

I upgrade my laptop to windows 10 since threre I can not alter the screen icons size and in the Control Pannel is not allowed to reduce the screen resolution.

• What exactly you mean by when you say “I cannot alter the screen icons size”?
• Are you referring to a screen resolution?

If you are referring to screen resolution then to make changes in screen resolution I would suggest you to follow the below steps:

• Click on Windows icon then go to Settings.
• Then click on display.
• Select Advanced display settings.
• Under Resolution select the appropriate recommended is
  1920X1080
