    Dear Community,


    I tried using the "Fix Issues" option to install the latest Windows 10 Ver. 1903 update and received a message that the Intel RST version I have installed on my PC is not compatible and cannot install the Windows update. This is the message I read below:


    Intel and Microsoft have found incompatibility issues with certain versions of the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) drivers and the Windows 10 May 2019 Update. If your device has an Intel® RST driver version between 15.1.0.1002 and 15.5.2.1053 installed, it cannot install the May 2019 Update.


    Versions 15.5.2.1054 or later are compatible, and a device that has these drivers installed can install the Windows 10 May 2019 Update. For affected devices, the recommended version is 15.9.6.1044.

    How can I install the compatible version of the Intel RST software? Please help.

    Windows 10 1903 upgrade failure due to Intel Rapid Storage RST driver

    Windows 1903 upgrade fails with message that there is a problem with the Intel RST driver. I followed Microsoft's support article

    and upgraded the Intel RST driver to the recommended version 15.9.6.1044, but this did not resolve the problem. Even updating

    Intel RST driver to the latest version 17.5.1.1021 does not enable The Windows 10 1903 upgrade to run successfully.

    I tried both update mechanisms via Windows Update as well via the Media Creation tool, both with no success no matter which Intel RST driver is installed.

    What can I do to successfully update to version 1903 ? Any help is highly appreciated.

    trying to install the windows 10 version 1903 and getting an error due to INtel RST version

    when I try to install the Windows 10 version 1903 update on my Dell inspiron 15 it fails due to an error stating that the intel RST driver on my device needs to be version 15.5.2.1054 or
    a later. I then did update the driver to a later version and did a reboot but I am still getting the error. Any input to correct this is appreciated.
