    Windows 10 ver 1903 update


    Hi,

    I am currently running version 1803. Repeatedly, I am able to download and install 1903. However, when it comes time to restart the computer so that the updates may be applied, it stops at 60%, and I am advised to restart the computer and the update process, because the install failed.

    Ideas?

    I have attempted to install ver. 1903 update but failed 6 times. The error is -

    Last failed install attempt on ‎10-‎06-‎2019 - 0x80240034

    Till date all the previous updates were successful. Kindly guide.

    Windows 10 1903 and McAfee Compatibility


    Check with McAfee for an updated version that does work with Ver 1903.

    I suggest uninstalling McAfee, doing the Ver 1903 update then re-installing McAfee / installing the new McAfee version.

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
