Windows 10 ver 20H2 Outlook Inbox Mail Deleted

Hello--My laptop just received the Windows 10 ver 20H2 update. All mail in my Outlook 2013 inbox prior to the date of the download has been deleted. It's not in the Trash or Deleted folder, it's just gone. Can I repopulate my Outlook inbox from my Spectrum mail server?? Thanks.

    :)

Change from IMAP to POP3, if supported by the email server, and make sure that "Leave a copy of messages on the server" is checked.

Otherwise, I wonder if changing where delete items goes, and unsubscribing the folder will work?

Example is with Gmail and it's All Mail folder, but if not, can create a folder for the the same purpose.

Outlook routing new mail to Inbox AND Deleted items

    Windows 10 up to date
Office 365 also up to date

For the past week or two, new mail is routed to the Inbox as normal but the same email is also placed in the Deleted folder.
I do have a few Rules in place that automatically route some junk mail direct to the Deleted folder, but this is different. The mail is genuine and should not be routed to Deleted and the odd thing is that it appears in both folders ie it is being copied to the deleted folder.
