Windows 10: Windows 10 version 1809 installation blocked in my laptop.

Hello guys, i am using windows 10 pro version 1803 from last 3 months which i installed in my laptop through bootable usb created by me but after the release of October update 1809 ,windows update started prompting me to update to version 1809.When i tried that then updates downloaded successfully but failed during installation. I contacted Microsoft technical support and they took a remote access ,checked my system and asked me do a clean installation of windows 10 version 1809 by creating bootable usb through media creation tool. I did that and tried to install windows again but received an error which blocked my installation.

I am sharing a image please go through it. Also, microsoft asked me to ask my manufacture to update the BIOS because they think its an issue of BIOS. They tried to install a new version of BIOS in my laptop by downloading that through Lenovo global website but during installation an error message was displayed and BIOS failed to update or install with a message " The version of ROM file is same as that of BIOS".

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

WMP for version 1809...


My Windows 10 N, version 1803 had used Windows Media Player via installing it from the "Windows_MediaFeaturePack_x64_1803.msu" file.

Updating to 1809 removed the WMP and no longer available in the apps list:





There's an updated version listed at:

But clicking on the link and looking for the 1809 in the drop down list of versions does not show the media feature pack available for download for 1809; instead it shows version 1709 and 1803.

Does anyone have a direct link to WMP for Windows 10 N, version 1809?
