Windows 10: Windows 10 version 2004, failed to install 0x80070011

Discus and support Windows 10 version 2004, failed to install 0x80070011 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I am currently running on version 1909. The update usually stops before 50% and revert with error 0x80070011. The following are attempts to fix this....     Windows 10 version 2004, failed to install 0x80070011


    I am currently running on version 1909. The update usually stops before 50% and revert with error 0x80070011. The following are attempts to fix this.


    Clean up previous updates

    troubleshoot windows update

    sfc scannow

    reset via recovery settings

    use update assistant


    And none of these had worked.


    Brief pc specs:

    CPU: i7-7700HQ

    RAM: 16GB

    OS: Windows 10, version 1909, 64bit, build 18363.1082

    Windows 10 home fails to update

    I'm getting the following message:

    • Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070011: 2017-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4034658).

    Windows Updates failed to instal

    I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
