Windows 10: Windows 10, version 20H2 update error code 0xc80004005 help.

Hello everybody,


I have been having a lot of trouble trying to install the new Windows 10 20H2 update. I click "Download and install" and then the update proceeds to 100%, I click restart, and then when I check my version it is still the same because I get an error stating "We couldn't install this update, but you can try again 0xc80004005.".


This has been really irritating for me because I have looked up numerous methods to try and fix this but no luck, so I am posting here. I have also already tried Windows Update troubleshoot and it is not detecting any problems.


My version:


Version 1909 OS Build 18363.1316 Windows 10 Home x64 bit.

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.

windows updates 20H2

Hi team...my most recent version is windows 10 20H2 , despite that the office 2010 32 bit updates are failing with the error code 0x80070643....i checked several times and updated office 2019 on my PC.

unable to find a solution, and it seems that if eventually that will fail....ultimately operating system clean install option will be the last remaining option, which I do not want to do.....

kindly suggest what to do?
