    Windows 10 - Volume drops to Zero in Normal Mode and 100 in Tablet Mode


    Hello All,


    Tried everything to fix this. I have a 2-in-1 laptop. Once you fold it over it turns from traditional laptop to Tablet.


    The volume on my laptop drops to zero.


    Have reset Windows, used the troubleshooter, tried all available 'fixes' posted online but to no avail.


    There must be someone out there who can fix.

    Tablet Mode doesn't automatically turn on

    Hi Roice,

    We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

    • Click start and select settings.
    • Select settings and then select tablet mode.
    • Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.

    Hello,

    To turn on tablet mode on Windows 10, kindly follow these steps:

    • Click on Start; then select Settings.
    • Select System; then click on Tablet Mode.
    • Turn on Tablet Mode.

    Tablet Mode in Windows 10

    Hi,

    Tablet mode is a new feature that should automatically activate when you detach a tablet from its base or dock. Also, in tablet mode, the Desktop is unavailable.

    To disable the Tablet mode in Windows 10, you may follow the steps below:

    • Click the Start button.
    • Launch the Settings app.
    • Tap on System in the left pane of the screen; then, scroll down to the bottom until you see
      Tablet Mode.
    • Verify if the toggle is set to either on or off based on your preference.
