Windows 10: Windows 10 was installing a KB update and it was stuck at 21% so i clicked restart now its...

Hello My windows 10 was downloading then installing a KB update and i saw it install 100%. then on my laptop i don't know why but every time i get updates each KB update goes thru 2 100% installs before the restart button comes up. So it was stuck at 21% on the second install so i clicked restart now to see what will happen and now the circles are just going around for long time. What can I do to get past the restart mode circles and maybe try reinstalling the update or just get to the normal sign in screen then go back to check for updates?thanks for your help I hope you unstand what i am tr

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
