Windows 10: Windows 10 Watermark

Basically, after all this time, i still have my Windows Watermark at the bottom right side of my screen. Its been starting to bother me, so iwent to the setting as it told me to. I couldn't find anything there, so i decided to search it on YouTube. I found some videos but none of them seemed legitimate. One of them required you to deactivate your Anti-Virus, the other one was just to erase the watermark instead of getting rid of it through more valid ways, i dont really know...


Anyway, so now let me say this; I bought my Windows 10 from MediaMarkt, and im completely sure its legitimate. It was not even a shady alley MediaMarkt Sorry if this sounds too dramatic, its just a way of saying the Staff wouldnt, or at least couldnt scam me off of it. I bought it from a Shopping Center's MediaMarkt. Im just pointing out its legit, because when i asked my friend he said that its probabaly because its a fake Windows 10. So yeah, id love to be able to get rid of the text at the bottom right. When i was going through posts i found someone ask someone else for them to type "slmgr.vbs /dlv" into the cmd, and then send a screenshot of the text that pops up after it so in case that is required, i have it. But since i sadly do not understand random probabaly not sequels of numbers and letters im going to leave that to whoever would be kind enough to help me out over here. I would actually be quite disappointed if it turns out to be a scam version of Windows.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

But well, yeah, a slightly smaller watermark would do. Although you should still be able to place it at least, and not just be at the bottom like your suggestion.

 

Activate Windows Watermark

• Using Cortana, type Notepad and then click on Notepad (Desktop app).
• Type the following commands in Notepad:

  Save the file and name it as Activation.bat.

  Change the Save as type to All files.
