Windows 10: Windows 10 - Weird problems and bugs with system, Office and file explorer

Hello everyone,I hope that all of You are alright.My client is having weird problems and bugs with Windows 10 & Office home & bussines 2019. File and app association just stops working time to time. Icons on the desktop are not visible and are replaced with white icon. Office applications randomly lose association, few days ago Word documents were not associated with Word but any other Office app worked fine Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. When client wants to send folder through Outlook with right click and "send to" "mail recepient", folder gets sent but ownership and permissions are l

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Some files listed in Windows Explorer are blue font

I seem to have run out of room on a Windows XP Pro system. I tried to defrag but don't have but 7% room available. I looked in Windows Explorer to try to find some huge files that might be corrupt and I see a few that are listed in blue. What does that mean? I have not compressed anything on purpose. Thanks

 

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).
