I have a scenario, and I need suggestions with that.

I have a Laptop and Windows 10 Home original copy came with it. Now after running for a month, it's stuck during Windows Update, and does not move.

It never boots back to normal or safe mode. Even hard reboot takes it to the same black screen, where it says "Applying changes" and then trying to revert the changes made, that's all. We cannot boot to normal Desktop, Safe Mode, Troubleshoot mode, get Advanced Options. Either it's turned off, or it boots to that screen.

Other than contacting the OEM, what other options do we have?

    :)

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
