Windows 10: What is the easiest way to replace my faulty 2TB SSD with a new one and...

On Windows 10 my 1.5 year old Crucial 2TB SSD is showing more frequently errors on startup and I have already bought a new 2TB SSD, this time Samsung. The old SSD still boots ok most of the time but I think it is time to replace before its too late. What is the easiest way to transfer mirror? my Windows 10, all my two accounts one admin, one family , my settings, email, data, apps onto the new drive.Samsung shows a USB to SSD transfer cable plus Data Migration software, but I wonder if there is a way to do this within Windows 10 which hasn't got Eazy Transfer any more

    :)

New SSD; easiest way to move OS over?

    Hi,

I currently have a SSHD which has Windows 10 on it and I'm getting a SSD for my OS to speed up boot times etc.

What's the easiest way to transfer my OS to the SSD? Can I make a system image or something along those lines? I still have my Windows 7 disk but I'm not sure if I can upgrade to 10 if I install 7 all over again.

    Thanks for any help

Is it recommended to reinstall Windows 10 when I upgrade from 1TB SSD to 2TB SSD on a desktop PC?

Hi, I have just built a new computer but I have not activated Windows 10 yet. I plan to upgrade the SSD from my current 1TB SSD to 2TB SSD within the next three months. In this case, is it better to copy all user files from the 1TB SSD to an external drive,
install Windows 10 on the new 2TB drive and copy all user files back to the new 2TB drive or clone whatever I have in the 1TB to the 2TB drive? Is cloning less good than a clean vanilla install?
