Windows 10: Windows 10 will not remember window location, size, or ICON sizes within windows!!

I have to switch to thumbnails every time I open a window if I want that window to display thumbnails permanently. I wish there was a per-window feature to control if it reverts back to some default or remains at the last setting. Why wouldn't this be built-into windows? Seems like a very basic behavior, not something I should have to spend money on a third party app or monkey around with endlessly!! I know there are third party solutions, but this seems like a massive oversight! If I remember right, this was existing in previous versions of windows too, yet the complaint doesn't seem to be widespread for some reason; maybe I am more productivity-oriented than the average user, or it is only occurring for a few of us.

Window Size for GPU-Z

I don't know if anyone has suggested this before, but it would be rather convenient to add adjusting the size of the GPU-Z window. It would be especially convenient for viewing the whole sensors tab and taking screenshots of it.

 

Windows 10 Desktop icon size not remembered

I have an unusual problem question. It never happened to me. The icon on the desktop are loaded in medium size. I change them to small size but again once I switch off my computer and again switch on the icon again load in medium. It seems that the
windows is not remembering the setup of the icon size that I wants that is small size. Can someone tell me what to do because it is really annoying everything I have to change the icon size.

You really can't. Windows wasn't designed to work that way. You can fiddle around and get the window to stay where you want temporarily, but eventually the window will go somewhere else and be some other size.

That said, you can possibly find a third-party application that will do what you're wanting to do.

Actually, it's one of the features that worked up till Win7. Win7 removed the systems ability to remember the screen sizes and locations of application windows. ShellFolderFix corrected that problem, but it's no longer being developed. The list of features
(user customization capablities mostly) that windows shed in win7, win8, and now Win10 would amaze you. All to get you that 5" phone experience on your 1000$ desktop.

My processes remember as stipulated.

Only system processess do so.

Notepad.

Wordpad.

Whatever.
