Windows 10: Windows 10 will not update even from ISO

I have an old laptop running w10 1607. I have updated the BIOS to the latest version.I have tried many ways to get it to update, and finally have downloaded the latest ISO, mounted it and run setup -and again it has failed.I have created space in the EFI drive by deleting language folders but no improvement.I have run this as a batch file at admin level@ECHO OFFecho Simple Script to Reset / Clear Windows Updateecho.PAUSEecho.attrib -h -r -s %windir%\system32\catroot2attrib -h -r -s %windir%\system32\catroot2\*.*net stop wuauservnet stop CryptSvcnet stop BITSren %windir%\system32\catroot2 catro

I won't buy a key, stupid.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?

 

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
