    I keep getting this error message. Error 1721. There is a problem with thisWindows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: create_and_install_cert, Location: C:\users\Larry TCA\AppData\Local\….\create_cert.exe.



    I have windows 10 home. I have unregistered and reregistered windows installer, have checked to make sure Windows Installer and RPC is running and have used the command prompt to scan and repair SFC files and used Advanced Systems Repair program but issue is still occurring. I was thinking about reinstalling windows installer. Windows ® Installer. V 5.0.18362.1 is on my computer now but is not redistirbutable so would have to install a 4.5 version. I would appreciate any feedback on resolving this issue before I try to uninstall and reinstall Windows Installer.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Hello,

    I have been trying to install "CSI Etabs 2013 software" . but I got this Error (1721) and then when I want to Uninstalling , i got this Error(1721) again.

    I did this steps but didn't work.

    • Hold down the Windows key + R to open the Run box
    • Type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER and click OK Even if you do this correctly,it may look like nothing happens
    • Type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER and click OK
    • Try the installation once more
    By the way, I don't have problem with Installing last version of softwares. but I always have problem with Installing old version of softwares.
