Windows 10: Windows 10 won’t boot after update

My computer tried to update a couple of days ago and now Windows 10 will not boot.


I googled endlessly trying to find solutions to the issue but I can’t seem to solve it.


I tried turning it on and off.

I tried booting in safe mode with and without networking.

I tried to restore to a previous point where Windows was working properly, but it is asking me to login with my password. I write my password, which is linked to my outlook account, and it tells me it’s incorrect. I changed the password, I typed the new password, and it still tells me it’s incorrect.

Every other option in the recovery menu requires my password, which even though is correct I know because I logged in on other devices, it comes back as incorrect.


I am running out of patience, and nothing seems to work. This has happened before multiple times when trying to update, and I would solve it by restoring to a previous point, but the recovery menu never asked for my password until now.


I am running Windows 10 on an Asus Rog laptop.

Any help would be truly appreciated. Thank you.

My pc won´t boot Windows 10 from USB/DVD

So I wanted to change from my Windows 10 x32 bits to 64x. I downloaded the Mediacreationtool and used it in both a USB and a DVD. Tried used the usb, the disk and both at the same time but they won´t boot.

I have a P7H55-M motherboard, the BIOS is updated and configured to boot first DVD, second usb and third SATA.

So if someone could help me it´d be great.

 

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
