Windows 10 won't reactivate after hardware change

    Hello,

Recently I upgraded my PC, which involved a new motherboard and processor. I have been trying to reactivate my copy of Windows 10 Pro to no avail. The activation troubleshooter keeps giving me the error code 0xC004F213, even though I can see my previous activation inside the troubleshooter. Selecting it and clicking the activate button just brings me to the "Unable to activate Windows" dialogue box. I don't know what else to do and I am not currently in a position to afford an entirely new Windows 10 Pro license key. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    :)

  3. windows 10 reactivation after hardware change

I just changed motherboards, and When I follow the the steps listed in the "reactivate windows 10 after hardware change" support page, it gives me the message "unable to activate windows" message after I sign in and identify my device,
with no error code, just a subheader that says "can't activate windows 10 on this device, try again later."
