Windows 10: Windows 10 won't run 4k?

Hi, I just got a new 4K Samsung TV today, and I was planning to use it alongside my 1080p monitor, but as soon as I plugged it in, my screen went black. I unplugged the TV only to see my PC had logged me out?

So I tried just using the TV on its own. That worked, until I tried changing the resolution to 4k. That got me logged out as well.

I'm not sure why it's doing this. My specs aren't exactly the best, but I have an i7-7700k with a GTX 1080, and from what I´ve googled, those should be able to run 4k just fine. Is there something I might be missing?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Refer to the below link:

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  Type the following commands.
  
  
  
  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
