Windows 10: Windows 10 Won't show anything past POST

I Don't know which SPECIFIC TOPIC to put this in, so I chose this


Once again, my laptop encounters a problem

that other people encounter, but no quick fix works.


Sometimes my laptop will slow down so much, I decide to just force a shutdown. I do believe there was an update ready, but I didn't know force quitting would do something bad? NOTE: I didn't force quit while it was updating. It was pending a restart and I was getting impatient with Edge Dev


Now every time it goes past POST, it's just a black screen with no cursor. I tried the following things:


1. Start-Up Repair Didn't Work

2.Command Prompt Didn't Work either. And yes this includes going to make a copy of something.

3.Safe Mode Hangs on then restarts and back to square one, or maybe Safe mode has the same issue

4. Uninstalling Quality updates Encountering.an error

5. BIOS Setup This Went NOWHERE


If anyone knows a way to help me that I didn't try yet, please let me know.


I'm willing to try the following:

1. Installing Windows inside of Windows


These are out of the question:

1. Clean Install

2. Resetting the PC

Intel CORE i5 8400H 8th Gen 2.3 GHZ

Intel UHD Graphics

NVIDIA GeForce 1060 w/ Max-Q Design


1TB HDD

Skype won´t wok in 17063

Making backup and re-format...

Maybe I Install a Windows 7 again, At least, all of my games run smoothly ...Sadness!!

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

Refer to the below link:

Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Command prompt(Admin) to open elevated Command prompt.
  
• 
  Type the following commands.
  
  
  
  powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml
  
• 
  Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.
  
• 
  Close Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Try to start the Windows Store again.

cortana won`t talk to me

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down the issue and to provide you better assistance.

• Check and verify if Cortana is activated?
• Does Cortana search and gives any output/result on screen?
• Is the Language and region settings set to valid value?
• Check and verify if Cortana available in your region?

Method 1:

I suggest you to try to turn Cortana off and then try turning it on back and check if she talks. Refer to the steps below to turn Off and On Cortana:

• Open Cortana.
• Click the hamburger button in the top left of the window.
• Go to Settings and click on off.
• Follow the same steps to turn it on.
• Check if issue persists.
