    Windows 10 won't update past v1803


    My laptop has tried to update to v1903 every day for the past 8 or so months. It "completes" the update just fine and tells me to restart, but upon restart it says it's up to date then detects and attempts to download the update again, still on v1803. I've tried a repair install, I've run the update troubleshooter, I've downloaded the update tool directly it gets to "downloading windows" then fails every time, and I've run DISM which gets stuck in 89.3% in diagnostic. Nothing will get it past v1803.

    Windows 10 1803 doesn't play nice with some Intel SSDs

    Intel SSD problem seems to be resolved by installing the KB4100403 cumulative update for v1803.

    Windows 10 won't update past v1803

    Windows updates won't install!

    I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

    You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
