Windows 10: Windows 10 wont update

Hello,

As the title says, I've run the windows update(1903) 3 times but my PC continues on the same version(1809). This effort to update started after trying to download a game from the Microsoft store where it refused to let me install. I noticed the minimum OS needed was 18362.0 and currently I was on 17763.678.

I am currently running a non-activated Windows 10. When I take a look at activation settings I am getting error code 0x8007232B, I believe this might be from trying to use a free windows key back when I put together my PC late last year. Could this be the source of my problem? If I actually bought and changed product keys, would it fix this issue?

A similar issue occurred on the Nvidia website. I tried to detect the latest drivers but was unable to without the latest Java version. I ran the Java update twice but Nvidia did not seem to recognize that it was updated, I am thinking it didn't update at all, similar to the Windows update. I downloaded the driver manually but the windows 10 update still was unsuccessful.

Any advice/help would really be appreciated.

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
