Windows 10: Windows 10 "Working on it"

Discus and support Windows 10 "Working on it" in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; When opening a file using any program in Windows 10, I get the dreaded "Working on it" message and it takes an age to display the file dialog box....     Windows 10 "Working on it"


    When opening a file using any program in Windows 10, I get the dreaded "Working on it" message and it takes an age to display the file dialog box. I've tried every conceivable fix suggested online with no change to how long it takes to open a file.

    As there seem to be thousands of Windows users experiencing the same issue, shouldn't Microsoft have provided a definitive fix for this issue via a downloadable app/program by now?

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
