  1. Windows 10's viral updates

I have a laptop. I run windows 10 1809. I don't want Windows to update. Ever again. Period. No scans for new patches, no hidden updates, no side stepping MY GOD DAMN SETTINGS. I have been patient, waiting for things on Microsoft's end to improve. I've used McAfee Firewall, the Registry, Services, countless soft and hard work arounds, all to put a definite stop to the Microsoft servers shoving their puss dripping c*** into my personal system. And NOTHING STICKS. So I'm done. If I want an update, I'll bloody well go get one. I want to know how to put a permanent block on all Windows Updates to my laptop. I want to know how to get full access AND CONTROL over the Task Scheduler and Registry to delete all Windows Update and Update Orchestrator files, tasks, settings, everything. And I want to know why running things in Admin mode doesn't do **** and only shows extra options that I can't even toy with. I already turn off my Wifi whenever leaving this thing unattended to for any lengh of time just to keep the garbage out of my laptop. I'm pissed off, sick of getting **** and I want a solution to this Malware of an OS's malfunctions until it's not cancer. I paid for this computer, I deserve to at least control it as I see fit. Plain and simple.

I'm HOPING someone can actually provide a solid fix. It can't be that hard to isolate a computer from the main Microsoft servers and stop all updates.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
