Windows 10: Windows 11 22H2 Can't pin folders to quick access

I just unsynced one drive and uninstalled it from my computer and that has kind of messed with my file structure. I am trying to pin my system's Documents folder to quick access so that I don't have to go through C -> Users -> <userName> -> Documents every time I want to look at my Documents folder. I tried resetting my folder view but that didn't work. Every time I try to pin the folder to quick access through the file explorer it allows me to right-click and there are no errors that pop up, but it just doesn't pin the folder. Nothing happens at all.

Pin to quick access does nothing.

I seem unable to customize the quick access area in any way. I already tried the procedure outlined here:

Redirecting

Yet "pin to quick access" does absolutely nothing.

Any other suggestions?

Remove items from Quick access.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Right click on the file or folder.
• Select the option “unpin from the quick access”

To pin items to an item already on the quick access bar.

Follow the below steps.

I would suggest you to create folder in the desktop screen & place all the files or folder which need to pin to the quick access.

• Open the quick access.
• Select the Desktop option.
• Right click on the folder & select the option “pin to quick access”
