    My Windows 10 computer died recently, so I have built a completely new one that I intend to run Windows 11 on.I understand that I can use Media Creation Tool to make a USB key installer for Windows 10 and that I should be able to activate it using my Microsoft account, effectively moving the license from one PC to another.Here's my question:Must I install Windows 10 first and activate my account before I upgrade to Windows 11 for free?Or can I use a Windows 11 Media Creation Tool to create a Windows 11 installation and activate it with my Microsoft account?

    Digital license

    Thats how licensing works with Windows 10, the digital license is attached to your Microsoft Account and makes it easy to reactivate Windows 10 in the event you reinstall it.

    I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

    When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
    is that causing the problem?
