Windows 10: windows 11 antimalware service causing high cpu usage when connecting to internet

I have ASUS VIVOBOOK X509DA_M509DA laptop and i've windows 11 installed on my computer.I found that when i connected my laptop to internet,my laptop CPU usage due to antimalware service executable is high and it's consume 100% CPU usage.I searched almost entire youtube to solve this problem.I disable windows security service from gpedit.msc standered & extended.I execute MsMpEng.exe from windows security But it's does not help me to get rid from this problem.Please Help Me...

Hi Casemiro,

As this is your only line of defense, we can change the timing in which this does a scan. Right now the task is probably set to when you start up your computer - we could change it to later at night or some other time if you'd like?

Seeing above you can change the task scheduler event; do not remove Windows Defender as this is your only defence.

There some changes you can make to ensure that this doesn't run at max CPU usage.

Antimalware Service Executable High CPU

I am experiencing high CPU usage on the Antimalware Service Executable on my Surface Pro i7 1 tb (2017). This has been going on for a couple of months. It makes my computer almost unusable. The CPU sits at 100% any time I try to use it. The CPU has
over 50% usage when nothing is being run in the foreground all the time (24 hours a day). The April update was just installed and the Antimalware Service Executable is still running at over 40% of the CPU utilization.

I'm having the high CPU usage and it appears that antimalware service executable is to blame. Yes, I had Norton installed and used the removal tool. What do you think could be the problem?
