Windows 10: Windows 11: Bluetooth headset paired and disconnects after 5 seconds. Cannot reconnect.

I am trying to connect my Bose QC35 II bluetooth headset to my Windows 11 PC. I am able to see the device in "Add Device", but after clicking it the device shows "Connected" instead of the regular "Connected, voice, music". After 5 seconds connection, it disconnects. Trying to reconnect yields That didn't work. Make sure your Bluetooth device is still discoverable, then try again.Trying to add the device from the legacy Control Panel > Devices and Printers section doesn't even pair and yields the same message.I have tried so many different set of solutions, including:Completely installing

Bluetooth devices will not reconnect after paired

After the latest major update to windows 10, my Bluetooth headset and my Bluetooth keyboard, after pairing, will not reconnect after disconnected. These devices have always been able to reconnect for subsequent uses even after original windows 10 install.
After this latest update, they no longer automatically reconnect. They are both listed in the devices list but will not connect. I have to remove and repair every time. Thanks for any help.

 

How to disconnect and reconnect bluetooth devices in Windows 10?

Greetings, I added a Bluetooth radio to have Bluetooth in my PC. I connected my Bluetooth headset however, I could not find a way to disconnect correctly (turned off the headset). Therefore I had to un-pair the headset and pair the headset again to work.
Is there an easier way to disconnect and reconnect my headset? Thank you for your help. Melody

 

Bluetooth headset paired, but can't connect

This is exactly the only way I was able to reconnect my bluetooth devices so far. I had to remove it every single time I want to re-establish connection. I'm surprised that this problem has not been resolved and that it has not caused major upset so far...
