Windows 10: Windows 11 Crashes When Playing Steam Games

Hello,I was recently playing some games when my computer crashed. This has not been the first time that this has happened and every time it crashes I get a different type of error. Usually when the computer crashes it will crash again right after rebooting and will continue to do this two or three times before it will successfully allow me to use it without crashing. The initial crash only happens when I am playing games which lead me to believe that it would be a hardware problem with the GPU, but I'm not entirely sure. I have checked the memory using 'sfc /scannow' and it did not find anythi

are all steam games available on windows 11

okay so I am two steps away from upgrading to Windows 11 and I just want to make sure that all steam games run on windows 11. so is it a good idea to play steam games in windows 11 or should I wait for a few more weeks/months?

 

New Windows 11, many steam games will not display.

I have a new Windows 11 pc, I have Uninstalled steam, the games, reinstalled everything. I have tried using a different hard drive as well. I've read about so n e may update that turned off .net features and I followed what that article said and turned .net back on. Nothing will let most of the games play, the only game that will play is no man's sky. Don't even suggest verifying steam, or restarting the pc ior steam,,I'm well past that sort of suggestion.

 

Windows 11 Crashing when playing game.

When I said this is a fresh install, it meant that I literally installed Windows 11 to a newly purchased drive. No upgrade from 10 was performed. I don't feel you get the same outcome from upgrading as you do performing a fresh install.

I installed all the drivers from intel right after installing windows 11 because a lot were missing one in particular. Found out that the driver is obsolete and will not be distributed anymore. Can't remember which it was, but it was a feature that got removed.

Intel drivers are up to date from their site.

sfc scanned in May, but did it again just to cross it off the list.

What kind of specific situation are you wanting to know about? What steps am I taking to receive such a crash?

First game is Division 2:

Open Ubisoft Connect as admin

Navigate to games in Ubisoft and run game

play anywhere from 10-20 minutes and the game will crash Windows 11

The other game that I was having issues with is Before We Leave. Pretty much the same situation.

Open Steam

Go to Library

Run game

Crash roughly 20 minutes later.
