Windows 10: Windows 11 fingerprint and pin

When I turn my laptop on I can log in just fine with my fingerprint or pin but when I put my laptop to sleep and re open it I get an error code. "Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available code: 0x80280013. Click to set up your PIN again." Then it tells me to reset my pin. I have searched this up and found a reply from a Microsoft agent to delete the NGC folder. However, I can not find the file normally and I keep getting access is denied even though I am running it as an administrator when I tried the fix for that. I have also tried updating the drivers and I have unticked a setting

Fingerprint sign-in as default option on Windows 11

I just upgraded to Windows 11. When I sign-in, I am asked to enter my PIN. In order to use fingerprint, I have to select "sign-in options" and click on the fingerprint. I have restarted the computer numerous times, and each time I am asked to enter my PIN and have to go through this extra step to use my fingerprint to sign-in. How do I get my fingerprint as the default option to sign-in as I had using Windows 10.

 

Windows 11 ALWAYS require PIN to login (cannot use fingerprint).

I have Windows 11 on my brand new Samsung laptop (Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360).

I have an issue regarding logging in.

I used to be able to either PIN or fingerprint to log in. I often used fingerprint and occasionally used PIN.

However, after many Windows and Samsung updates, Windows 11 now always require PIN to log in. Every time I scan my fingerprint I registered, Windows 11 only gives me the message that my PIN is required to log in. Say, I cannot use my fingerprint to log-in.

I tried to remove PIN as a alternative solution, but "remove" button is disabled in "Remove this sign-in option" under PIN log-in in Windows settings.

Is there a way I can log-in only using one of the two (PIN or fingerprint), as I used to?

After Window Update, Windows 11 doesn't recognize my PIN and Fingerprints.

Just after I reset my Lenovo Laptop as suggested by Autoupdate, I cannot log in to Windows 11. It says that Windows 11 does not recognize my PIN. Alternative login using fingerprints also fail. When I try to reset my PIN, it is said that Windows 11 does not have utility to do so and ask permission to download it from Microsoft site. When I give the permission nothing happens. I'm stuck in the login page.

Please help, I have tones of data/files in there to work with.
