Windows 10: Windows 11 for Intel I7-7700HQ

Hello I've been using Windows 11 the dev version on an intel I7-7700HQ for few months now with no issue what so ever. Is there a reason why this processor is still not supported for Windows 11? Will it ever be?

• Intel® Core i7-7700HQ 2.80GHz w/ Intel HD Graphics 630
  • Kaby Lake H architecture (7th generation Core)

From reading this entire thread... it appears I may better off to wait before installing this KB4497165: Intel microcode update.

Agree or not?

Which cooler is best for Intel i7 ?

Okay this is Noctua's CPU compatibility list for Intel i7 10700KF notice 2 things next to NH-U12A it is compatible and can go full throttle with this cooler even a third thing no kit shown needed for mounting listed next to this cooler.




About maybe 1/4" of room before it hits window,Hyper 212 now.
Higher NSPR number the better

 

Intel + NVIDIA Laptop Freeze Problem Dell Alienware 17 r4 gtx 1070 i7 7700hq

Hey guys.

I did buy new laptop Problem Dell Alienware 17 r4 gtx 1070 i7 7700hq and i get this problem.

My Windows 10 pro 64 bit with lates updates is Freeze when i do check battery status etc....

i did make video with my problem.



I also saw a lot people have same problem as me.

for now is not solution with out using this program GitHub - jobeid/TrayPwrD3: Keeps dGPU on but idle until needed. This addresses the Windows 10 stutter/mouse freeze on dual GPU laptops. TrayPwrD3 runs in the background and stays in a tray icon. Other functionality: single click turns monitor off; provides several menu options on right click.

Please slove it.
