Windows 10: Windows 11, hardware or... help me diagnose.

all,Seeking some more understanding of an interesting problem. Legion y540 9th Gen I7.Becomes non responsive after a short time, yet I've chkdsk both SsD 500gb and HDD 320gb, as well as keep eyes on the taskmanager per performance and the CPU nor Drives get close to high performance. Memory stays consistent at about 4gb 50%. Can't see crash issues.Windows 11 always boots, but opening items when it's "had enough" ceases, can be pdf, video, work docs whatever. Never shows up on the taskmanager but the whole thing slows to only being mouse and click able. It will open folders fine and show

We suggest that you run the Hardware troubleshooter. Windows comes with this built-in troubleshooter. If you recently installed a new driver or plugged-in a hardware and face some things that are not working as you’d like them to, use this troubleshooter.
Please follow the steps below:

• On Cortana or search, type in Control Panel
• Type Troubleshooting in the search box on the upper right corner and hit enter.
• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
• Click on View all option on the upper left corner.
• Select the Hardware and Devices options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
