Windows 10: Windows 11 Home 21H2 Windows Memory Diagnostic: PC restarted after 37% completion with no...

I have a 2 month old Lenovo IdeaCentre 5 with AMD Ryzen 7 5700G APU which soon after purchasing I added a couple of 16 RAM sticks for video editing which I have re-bedded pushed down on left - click, right - click etc etc.My system seems to randomly and intermittently crash, often on booting where it just freezes, sometimes in the middle of general things like just watching YouTube screen pixelates etc I have checked Event Viewer and the only Critical event types issue seems to correspond to when I have been forced shut down the PC. I have checked the Error event types and they seem fair

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Memory diagnostic test results not found

This is very unusual that you are unable to find the results for Memory Diagnostic test.



Usually, when the memory diagnostic is complete the results will be stored under Event Viewer. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to access Event Viewer logs for Memory Diagnostic.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type eventvwr and hit enter.
   
3. Now expand Windows Logs and click on
   System.
   

You can use the filter or the find option in Event Viewer to check for specific logs. You can try the steps mentioned below to filter memory diagnostic results in Event Viewer.

1. Right click on System and click on
   Find.
   
2. Now type Memory Diagnostic results and click on
   Find Next
   

This should pull up the results for Memory Diagnostic that you have ran.

I suggest you to stop the game from the Task Manager and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic.
