Windows 10: Windows 11: How to get English UK keyboard

Hi to all,My laptop has English UK physical keyboard. My regional settings are set to US and that results in the laptop having two English keyboards simultaneously: US and UK.If you consider that I write often in French a language that requires a dedicated keyboard Windows makes my life very difficult as I have three keyboards - the issue being that I cannot remove the English US keyboard and keep only the UK and the French ones.Any help is appreciated

Accents when typing on English UK Keyboard

Hi folks,

Sometimes when I'm typing, accented letters come up. I'm on the English (UK) Keyboard, so I'm wondering if there's some key-combo I'm accidentally pressing or something similar.

A few details that might help:

• I'm on Windows 11 on a Surface Laptop Go 2
  
• I have 2 keyboards, English (UK), and French (France) with US-Int keyboard
  
• I have checked, and when this happens, I am 100% sure I am in English. I know the key-combos when I'm in French, and I'm not pressing them!
  

Thanks for the help in advance - funnily enough the problem occurred while writing this, and I was in English. It was an é if that helps!

Can't remove English UK keyboard after windows update

Hey,

I updated my Windows 10 with the latest update over the weekend.

When I signed in today I found that my Default language was changed from English (US) to English (UK) and that the English(UK) keyboard was added as well.

I managed to change the default language back to English (US) by downloading the language pack but I can't seem to remove the UK keyboard at all.

When clicking the keyboard the Remove option is grayed out (as is the US keyboard's option).

To add to the weirdness, I also have another keyboard layout that doesn't appear in the list of keyboards or their Options.

Help?
