Windows 10: Windows 11 is very slow & frustrating. Think i am not using it correctly.

My machine specificationsProcessor: IntelR CoreTM i5-9500T CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHzInstalled RAM: 8.00 GB 7.78 GB usableLocal Disk: 1 TB 930 GB freeTask Manager Soon after start:CPU - 70% used Top 10 doesn't add upto 10%Memory - 80% used Top 10 will add upto less than a GBWhat's wrong. Even getting up a browser up will take roughly 5 to 7 mins. Restart, will take 10 to 15 mins.I think my PC is not configured best to use the specifications available. Pls help/recommend.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thinking about Going back to Win8.1


If want to disable IE, still can. However, can't uninstall it like were able to in XP/98/whatever.
Here's how, although I find it useful in case Chrome or Firefox stops working and have to re-download it. *Wink
1. Search for turn windows features on or off and click it in the search results.

2. When the app opens, uncheck Internet Explorer 11.

3. Click Yes on the warning dialog.

4. Click OK.

5. Restart for the changes to finish.

 

Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?
