Windows 10: Windows 11 KB5030310

Installed KB5030310 and File Manager window does not open. Task Manager shows that Windows Explorer is running. Tried many things but the only way to sort out the problem is the update uninstall. Anyone else having this problem?

I installed KB5030310 update and Copilot is not showing

I am in the US and have the same problem(no KB5030310 features work) on 2 of my 6 Windows 11 desktops.

My guess is this is happening because I noticed during the update that more then one update was installed

simultaneously. Bottom line: I cannot make Pilot of any of the KB5030310 work even though it says it's installed.

All of my Lenovo desktops are identical.

On one that failed(1), these updates were installed at the same time as KB5030310:

KB5031217

KB4023057

KB5030509

KBB2667602

On one other(2) that failed, these updates were installed at the same time as KB5030310:

KB5031217

KB5030219

On one 4 that worked, only KB5030310 was installed

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Issue with Notification Bell Icon Disappearing after Windows 11 Update (KB5030310)

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to bring up an issue I've been experiencing after updating to Windows 11 (KB5030310). It seems that after this update, the notification bell icon on my taskbar disappears, and even after reinstalling Windows 11, the problem persists.

I've noticed an interesting behavior related to this issue. When I turn on Focus Mode, the notification bell icon does reappear as expected. However, when I turn Focus Mode off, the icon disappears again, and in its place, a box icon replaces it.

This behavior is quite frustrating, as it affects my ability to manage notifications effectively. I rely on the notification bell icon to stay informed about various updates and messages.

I have already tried reinstalling Windows 11 to address this issue, but unfortunately, it did not resolve the problem. I've also made sure that I have the latest updates and drivers installed, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else in the community experienced a similar problem, or does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue? Your insights and solutions would be greatly appreciated.
