    Windows 11 Keeps Deadnaming Me


    No matter what I try, whenever I log into my computer, it displays my deadname instead of my preferred name. I've changed it in the properties of my account, I've changed it via Microsoft's website, but nothing works. It displays my preferred name for only a moment, and then as soon as I go to type in my password, my old name replaces it. It's infuriating, and causing me a lot of emotional stress, so is there some way to fix this??

    Hi,

    so I have changed my name on my email, my account, etc. But I keep on seeing my deadname. For example in groove music I still see my deadname and if I go to change name, it says Theo. What am I supposed to do to stop seeing my deadname cuz it gives me really bad anxiety
