Windows 10: Windows 11 Laptop Lid Open and Sleep behavior

I have a new Windows 11 laptop that has some frustrating features and I can't get it to behave. The first is the open lid behavior. The laptop turns itself on when the lid is opened. I searched the settings and finally was able to make the Lid Open Setting visible it wasn't originally in the Power Options. I have it set to do nothing when the lid is opened, but it still turns itself on. The second frustrating thing is that the computer turns itself off or sleeps when plugged in and left alone. Those settings are below. My goal is to be able to leave the computer on, when plugged in,

• Have you connected the external monitor to the Laptop?
• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue specifically when playing the specific Game?
• Are you facing this issue after any recent updates installed?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.

Can't wake up laptop from sleep without opening the lid

Hello.

I used to be able to wake up my laptop with my USB mouse and keyboard, but about 1-2 months ago it stopped working.

In order to wake it up, I now have to open the lid. I don't need to press any buttons, merely lifting the lid a few centimetres wakes the computer up.

What's interesting, I can wake it up with mouse/keyboard within a few minutes of it going to sleep. But if I leave it in a sleep state for longer, if I walk away and come back in a few hours, mouse/keyboard can no longer wake it up and I have to open the
lid.

Any suggestions?
