Windows 10: Windows 11 layout Glitch

After switching from windows 10 to 11 after few time I am able to see a overlaying which appears in every application .please help to remove it as I am not able to click through that layout area . whenever cursor comes on it even in word it does not show insertion point but shows cursor arrow . Layout is only visible to me but is not visible in screenshot or screen recordings.

Keyboard Layout Glitches on Windows 10

Sometimes, when using the Swedish (Swedish keyboard) input method on my HP ENVY x360 bp008no running Windows 10 (version 1803), I notice a glitching behaviour with my keyboard layout.

• The Swedish language keys seem to move around. "å" becomes "´", "¨" becomes "å", "'" becomes "ä", "ö" becomes "¨" and "ä" becomes "ö".
• The input method does not change when using Windows Key and Space.
• The language bar appears slightly translucent when clicked upon.
• All of these symptoms resolve when I open the language settings, then return after typing in Swedish for a while (often on Google Chrome). What could be the issue here.

Update: similar issues have been seen with the Italian keyboard layout, where "è" becomes "'", "+" becomes "ì", "ù" becomes " ", "ò" becomes "è", and " " becomes "ò". All the other keys seem to be in their normal positions.

This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

(The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

 

Wrong keyboard layout in login page after update to 1607

Hi,

Since the issue reoccurred after updating to anniversary update, I suggest you to reconfigure the QWERTY keyboard layout and check if the same issue persists. This is to check if the issue is with Windows 10 1607 update.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to configure the keyboard layout:

• Open Settings and click on Time and Language.
• Click on Region and Language.
• Add the Country and click on add a language and select the language of your choice.
• This will take time to download the pack.
• Once this is done, Press Windows key + Space and press Space key to choose the keyboard layout.
