Windows 10: Windows 11 locks my screen after 1 minute

On my new Windows 11 laptop, the screen locks after 1 minute, no matter what settings I change. Things I've triedower plan setting: Turn off display after 4 minutes both battery and plugged inAdvanced power plan setting: Sleep / Sleep after 4 minutes battery/plugged inAdvanced power plan setting: System unattended sleep timeout after 4 minutes battery/plugged inAdvanced power plan setting: Display / Turn off display after 4 minutes battery/plugged inAdvanced power plan setting: Display / Console lock display off timeout after 4 minutes battery/plugged inSystem > Power & Batt

No Lock screen in Windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to set the lock screen option as Windows Spotlight and check if it helps.

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select Windows Spotlight from the list.

PC shows lock screen after a few minutes idle

Thanks for the response but I have no screen saver set.






Any other suggestions? This is a royal PITA!

• When you say that "I can't activate it again.", are you referring that you are not able to Activate Windows 10?

2. Then click on Personalize.
