Windows 10: windows 11 network

dear people ...the laptop is already upgraded to windows 11 ...the internet connection is thru a router and it is working ...after the screen saver turns off the computer shifts to "sleep mode" ...yet recently after the laptop is "sleep mode" and i "awake" it the internet network does not connect even though it is checked to connect automatically so i have to restart the laptop to be able to internet connects back ...again thanks for your always quick response ...javier

To help you out with your concern, we suggest that you disable the add-ons in Internet Explorer 11. For step by step instructions, go to this

link, then look for the title Turning off and removing add-ons.

We also suggest that you reset Internet Explorer 11 through these steps:

• Go to Internet Explorer then click the Gear icon.
• Choose Internet options > Advanced.
• Click Reset.

(Note: If you have added Favorites, back up them first before resetting the browser. )

Wireless Network

Thanks for trying the steps again. It's now clear that the problem is on your router. To reconnect your laptop to the network, we suggest that you set or specify the channel of your wireless network. If you can access your router's user interface, set the
channel to either channel 1, 6, or 11. Once done, remove your WiFi network from your preferred network list, then reconnect.

I'll be adding a small page on doing this in windows vista soon, since XP is the same with a step or two less, i assume people will figure it out.
