Windows 10: Windows 11 Not Accepting My Proxy Settings

Hello,I'm trying to add my proxy details to the Settings -> Network & Internet -> Proxy page. I have Use a proxy server "on", the ip address and port are correct. I've never had an issue with this before. I tried the exact same settings on another Windows laptop and it worked correctly.I have tried to reset the Network settings using Settings -> Network & internet -> Advanced network setttings -> Network reset.I also have tried to release and renew the ipconfig using the commands below.ipconfig /release ipconfig /flushdns ipconfig /renewBoth had no effect on getting the

To set up a proxy server in Windows 10, you may follow the following steps.

• Press the Windows key and I to open
  Settings.
• Click on Network & Internet.
• Under Proxy you can either Automatically set up a proxy or
  Manual set up a proxy server.

Windows could not automatically detect this network’s proxy settings

Hi - Just so you know, I'm marking this "problem solved". I found this online How to Solve the Windows Could Not Automatically Detect Network Proxy Settings Error. Doing the last step under #2 is what solved the problem. McAvee is still scanning incoming. McAvee & Malwarebytes still show no problems with a full scan. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
