Windows 10: Windows 11 on Ryzen 5 2500u

Alright, im owning a laptop with 12gb ram, tpm 2.0, secure boot etc, but the processor is ryzen 5 2500u, and it doesnt let me to install windows 11. i had windows 11 with the windows 10 iso modification, and i had some bugs with it camera was not working, the system used much ram etc, i downgraded to windows 10, and i want to go back to 11, but not again with the modification. i heard that, if i do a clean installation, it would work. now 2 questions about this :1. does this really work with unsupported cpus?2. can i do clean installation with just deleting the C: partition, without deleting

Windows 11 available on October 5

I have the following

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X (not supported)
• TPM: 2.0 (enabled in Hyper-V)

I downloaded the Windows 11 beta insider ISO last week and successfully installed it into a VM using Hyper-V.

I downloaded the Windows 11 release official ISO and tried to install it into a VM using Hyper-V. I got the message:





Update:
My mistake. I forgot to set the number of CPU cores. Windows 11 required at least 2 cores. After I changed it to 4 (default=1) Windows 11 installed fine in Hyper-V.

If I run the PC Health Check from within Windows 11 I still get this:

 

AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5 GHz

The "Ryzen 5 Market Segment Analysis" table on page one lists the Ryzen 5 1500X and the Ryzen 5 1600X as Ryzen 7...

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
