    Hello. I experienced recently a memory leak bug in Windows 11 official public build October 5 release. It happens this with Windows Explorer File Explorer. Each time I open File Explorer, the memory grows. When I close File Explorer, the consumed amount of memory is not dropping. It remains idle for a bit a and when I do the same thing open & close, the memory grows more and more. And it simply does NOT DROP. I am also NOT THE ONLY one who is experiencing this bug and because of this, I went back to Windows 10. Many users have reported this in Feedback Hub, including myself, and this

    Windows 11 available on October 5

    I'm already on 21H2 latest version and it fails at around the 80% mark during a reboot which causes the GSOD message. When it comes back up this is the error banner I see.

    Microsoft introduces the next feature update to 21H2

    I think there are essentially 2 release previews now: Windows 10 21H2 in the actual Release Preview channel and Windows 11 in the Beta channel. What we don't have is a real beta build. Since Microsoft had to release 11 to manufacturers at least a few weeks ago, nothing is likely to happen with it that won't permit any installed 11 build to get brought up to date with a CU. In fact, it seems 22000 was well into its beta stage when it was first released to the DEV channel.
