Discus and support Windows 11 Requirements in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; I checked the basic RAM requirements for Windows 11 and saw 4GB.Now, I know this is BS because Windows 10 is unusable with 4GB.     Windows 11 Requirements


    I checked the basic RAM requirements for Windows 11 and saw 4GB.Now, I know this is BS because Windows 10 is unusable with 4GB. Windows 10 requires 8GB to get out of its own way.So really, what is the minimum amount of RAM for this new OS?

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    Your 5th Gen processor is not on the list, and it is unlikely they will add it because there is no 6th gen processors listed and only a couple of 7th gen processors made the list.

    Microsoft were testing and adding some more processors, and did add some to the list, they indicate they have now completed testing, and no more processors will be added to the official list.

    It is possible to install Windows 11 on an unsupported processor using the Windows 11 ISO, I have Windows 11 installed on an unsupported Core i7 7700HQ processor and Windows 11 runs very smoothly, however Microsoft advise you do not do that, they will not be liable for any problems caused by doing that and also you would not receive Windows 11 updates, however, everyone that has installed Windows 11 on an unsupported processor is still receiving updates.

    Another option would be to contact your PC manufacturer to see if that processor can be upgraded.
