Windows 10: Windows 11 Restarting

Hi all,I have a Surface Pro 7, which was working perfectly up until now. A few days ago my computer updated to Windows 11 and ever since then it has been shutting down randomly within minutes of using it, rendering the laptop unusable. It would shut down when I'd be in the middle of reading something, even while writing this post...Anyone else have a similar issue and any potential fixes?This is infuriating!Thanks!

Hard drive/ OS issue

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Can't upload photos with IE 11 and Windows 10

Thank you for updating us on the issue.

I would suggest you to turn off and turn on Internet Explorer 11 and check

To turn off and turn on Internet Explorer 11 follow the steps given below

• Click the Start button,
• click Control Panel, click Programs and Features,
  
• And then click Turn Windows features on or off. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
• Clear the check box for Internet Explorer 11 to turn it off, and then click
  Yes.
• Click OK and, when prompted, restart your PC.

Once the computer restarts, follow steps 1-3 again from the above mentioned steps
and check the check box for Internet explorer to turn it on and then click
” Yes” and Click OK ,when prompted restart the computer. And check if issue persists.
