  2. Windows 11 locks my screen after 1 minute

On my new Windows 11 laptop, the screen locks after 1 minute, no matter what settings I change. Things I've tried:

    • Power plan setting: Turn off display after 4 minutes (both battery and plugged in)
    • Advanced power plan setting: Sleep / Sleep after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in)
    • Advanced power plan setting: System unattended sleep timeout after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in)
    • Advanced power plan setting: Display / Turn off display after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in)
    • Advanced power plan setting: Display / Console lock display off timeout after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in)
    • System > Power & Battery setting: Screen and Sleep / Turn off my screen after 4 minutes (battery/plugged in) (also recommended here)
    • Set the screensaver to "none"
At this point I'm stumped. Anything else that might be causing this?

  3. Windows 11 lock screen after 1 minute

    Hello guys,

A few weeks ago my Windows 11, after 1 min of inactivity it reserves the screen.

I've gone through many configurations, but have not had success in any, being:

    • Change screen saver settings.
    • Change screen idle time.
    • Disable and enable the system video card.
    • Start Windows without 3rd party apps.
    • Fetch OS update.
    • Change settings in Registry Editor, so we have more options in "Power Options".
My notebook is a Samsung Galaxy Book 3, and it's brand new.

Have you ever seen anything like it? It is very bad because any screen for reading, screen stopped on screen is locked.

I saw an earlier thread about this but there was no final solution and all the fixes in it did not resolve my problem..

    earlier thread: Redirecting

  4. Windows 11 screen locking after 1 minute

lock screen after inactivity only approx. 1 minute

My intel laptop goes to lock screen after approx. 1 minute. Windows 11 home

There is a lot of info about screen saver times, when plugged in / or on battery. (a different subject)

I find it so annoying when I am working, the screen locks, facial recognition or pin needed to carry on.

    Can anyone help.
